I learned that Mandy Harvey is a Jazz singer.
I am not good with classifications, either in our classical singing or at your end.
This song sounds a blend of Indian and western music. I feel Sonu Nigam the singer can never excel this level of singing and emotions.
I read comments below and found this song is liked by people from other cultures as well.
So I hope I am not boring you all. I just wanted to know if you had to classify it, would you call it Jazz or what?

That isn't Jazz at all.
Violins does not equal Jazz anywhere in the known universe, pretty much. There are a few exceptions, like Jean-Luc Ponty, but that song is more easy-listening/adult-contemporary.

Yeah...it is mix alright...I wanted to know what you all would call Jazz because Mandy Harvey is called Jazz singer. I simply like numbers and decide this appeals to me, and this does not. I am sorry you did not like the number completely...but it is one of the best songs in recent times.
