Problem with inlaws

@cintol I really haven’t done anything to bother them... they just didn’t want their son and brother to get married... they have really sick relations with each other! And when the hubby fell in love with me and started caring, the problems began!!

The mother sounds very controlling and that will take a long time to get over, all you can do is let him decide whether he wants to be around them or not. He may have to choose between you or them or visit them without you but if they are this bad, it won't change on their side.

@cintol I don’t believe they will change! Not anymore! I waited and waited, I was as good as I could, but nothing good happened! Anyway, yes... the mother is very controlling and so are the sisters... they act like I stole their husband... sometimes I try to understand what the fork is wrong with their head, but I really can’t! Hubby, made his choice a long time ago! He chose me and I couldn’t be prouder for him... Cause coming around from such an environment, is very difficult and it takes guts and he did it!!!!!!

@Courage7 I understand his anger too... I am angry with them too, but I don’t think that it’s ok to just cut them off...

@courage7 my husband does not want to see them anymore, and I think that this is wrong, cause no matter what it is his family... no they don’t come over! Only we go to them!

@cttolledo I thought that this would work too, and I made a big effort, so that they would realise that I am actually a nice person, but they don’t seem to care about that!!! I really wish you good luck with your future inlaws whomever they ll be!!!!!

@LittlePrince2s maybe its time for you to focus on your own family, your husband and kids. In time they will realize that you are a worthy person.

@marlina oh I’m definitely not gonna change!!! They are unbelievably bad to me!!! I just wanna find a solution for the sake of my hubby!!!

@marlina they always say things for me and try to make us brake up with my husband! It’s very frustrating... They call me names, say lies about me and staff like that....

We are keeping everything to ourselves, since we realised the problem, but that doesn’t stop them from meddling... I used to make compromises for them, so we could have a good relationship with them, but years past, and it didn’t seem to make a difference, so I stopped it... I reeeeeally don’t care for them, I just don’t want my husband to lose them if their stupidity!!

@LittlePrince2s some relations are forceful. We can't do anything. Maybe you both should move out to another city or another area in the same city. Visit only on special occasions. This way your husband won't be bothered by them.

@Sly_queen we moved 45km away 4 years ago!!! Maybe we should change country!
