Meaning of LOL

I know it means Laughing out loud or lots of laughs but i have seen some don't like it and there are some that don't even know its meaning and annoys a lot whenever someone says LOL.
I am many of those who like to say LOL a lot.

@thesupersingh I say "lol" online if something makes me laugh. I don't mind if others say it but it does annoy me when someone literally says "lol" out loud. Not fond of text speak when it's literally spoken.

@thesupersingh In real life I laugh a lot,but use LOL in my comments only if it becomes necessary.

Yeah i use it pretty freely here and every where, once i was typing an official email in office and i accidentally put LOL in that as well LOL

I just recently learn what this means. I use them to 'soften' the contents of what i am saying or else people will take offence. Also, when i do want to laugh out loud! LOL

I used to put "lol" after every thing because without it I thought I sounded mean or too serious. Not I don't use it really.

To me lol, means laugh out loud. Now I'd rather use emoji, if it's a non formal type of writing. I'm careful, not to use it in business, for business is very serious and you'll find no one uses lol, emojis in a business e-letter. I like using emoji as you can tell in my posts.
