I think this present age is of experiments and it helps us a lot as well. Its best to sometimes do some experiments in cooking.
Its not new but spinach is a veggie which is so good and we can add many things in it to enhance its taste like potatoes, cheese and even Chick peas and there is kofte as well which i am not aware of its English meaning.
Do you like spinach?

Yes I too like spinach. I think lentils goes well with spinach than chick peas. Spinach with lentil curry and ghee tastes good with boiled rice.

@thesupersingh Spinach wouldn't affect stones. It's more spicy, fats and greasy foods that do that. Though it doesn't seem to matter with me anyway. It will hurt whenever a stone is stuck in the bile duct.

I hope they have not stopped you from eating due to stones

I love it. ever since my last pregnancy alls I want is literally mushrooms and spinach saute together. Nothing else needs to be added. I can eat a big bowl of that and just be happy!
But I will sprinkle some leaves in or on anything I make for myself. The kids don't even notice it when added to pasta sauces or chili! :)

I use spinach more often these days. Usually, I steam it, chop it and serve as a vegetable on its own, either creamed (mixed with cream) or as it is. Sometimes I make Eggs Benedict, which is a poached egg on a bed of spinach with a Hollandaise sauce or a cheese sauce over it. I have also made Saag aloo (spinach with potatoes) and there is a lamb curry (whose name I forget) which has spinach (or methi tops) in the sauce.
Kofte are various kinds of meatballs. The word is from the Persian and simply means 'minced' or 'ground' [meat]. Similar things with very similar names can be found all over the Middle East and in Turkey, Greece and Macedonia, for example. In England we would just call them 'meatballs'.

Love spinach too! You can add spinach to any dish you think it will taste good with. Spinach is very healthy to eat raw or cooked. Spinach also adds color to dips aside of being very healthy for you.
