Hello, everyone! I really believe that self-education is very important even after you finished your university studies and began working. It can be anything: useful YouTube videos, an interesting book with new English words, or special online courses on the subject you want to master. The Internet is so diverse - I can easily waste my time here or learn something useful. Personally, I am trying to find a balance and use as many good opportunities as I can. I have learned digital marketing, copywriting, WordPress, basics in business, economy, entrepreneurship, improved my teaching skills and language on different educational websites. I have recently joined Coursera - this place offers free courses shared by the best university teachers from different countries. I love studying there in my free time. Do you study something after your student life is finished? Could you share your favorite educational sites with me, please?

Yes, I totally agree with you. I had my MBA in International Trade last year and i am having online courses on Video Editing which is completely different from what i studied. I always loved making videos and now i am able to edit them and make short videos. I use mostly videos tutorials on YouTube. There is so much to learn !

Yes, we have plenty of self leaning resources available on the Internet. I have heard of educational sites like Khan's academy, Udemy, CodeAcademy etc which have many courses. As for fun, we of course have this wonderful site: Mylot!

The day we stop learning is the day we become stagnant. I think we should continue learning our entire lives, even up to the day we die. I have also enjoyed taking classes on Coursera! I hope you enjoy learning as well! Do you live in Russia? If so, what part of the country do you live in? I am always trying to learn about people from around the world!

Absolutely, there is no end to the learning process ,... being a teacher I need to keep myself up to date with not just my own subjects but other related matters as well. I see that the students are very smart and are quite knowledgeable , so all the more reason for teachers to be aware ..

Yes, I'm learning languages online and also updating my knowledge about my profession. Since we have Internet available we can learn a lot and free. I did some courses by Coursera that has a big offer. You can also visit this page from Open Yale Courses: They offer really great courses and for free.

Oh yes! I am for Self education. But not the version you are talking about. Your 'self-education' is really a search for knowledge and quite rightly it can be found in the internet. This , for me is the lowest level. (No offence to anyone). For me, Self Education is the search for things pertaining to the SELF. This is a spiritual search. This knowledge brings about 'transformation' and is quite profound. I don't have an educational site. I am happy my University studies are over. No need to jump back right in!
