My Sunday strategy for getting rich on MyLot

I'm doing something different on this sunny Sunday morning as I sip coffee, do a little speaker refinishing, and MyLot away. Usually, I respond to comments on my own posts first, and then go visiting others' posts. Today, I'm visiting at least one post of everyone who comments on my posts before moving on to the next comment on my posts. We're all gonna be rich! The owner of the JBL speaker I was working on did come by yesterday and pick up the first speaker. He left me with a new ugly one to work on. I should take some pictures of the broken corners I have to build up. I'll charge him $240 for the pair. Once he gets the woofers refoamed (he's doing it himself), the speakers will be worth about $2500, as C-46s are rare, and collectors like them. How is your Sunday going so far? Do you think I'll be rich by the end of the day?

Actually, it was (or will be) a good day by my standards. But given the "randomness facotr," there's no way to know if it was because I visited posts right after I responded to comments this morning.

My husband is re foaming his speakers as well, he has had them since he was in High School. They are still in pretty good shape though, don't think they are worth much but he likes them. Good thing you have the ability to repair things like that for people.

He said he thinks their Radio Shack but he loves them. They are about 3 ft tall maybe a little bigger but still in great shape. He said he thinks they are Optimus 1050

It's amazing what people collect sometimes. I guess speakers aren't that unusual but I don't know of anyone who does that here. No doubt they're around.

There are "elite" loudspeakers out there that cost in excess of $100,000/pair. But I like the look and sound of speakers from the 1960s and 1970s.

I don;t know much about speakers. I have one here I have been trying to sell, and some guy put me through the ringer about it, and didn;t buy it! Grrr

@TheHorse It's a Yorx single speaker..I will post it if you think you want to buy it..but I am not sure if it would be worth it to ship it to Calif. The shipping would probably be more than the cost of the speaker.

I always do as you are doing. I respond to comments left on my posts first, then I respond to those who commented after my comments (notifications). When I have finished, I read new discussions.

They can be.I try to do the best I can on the surfaces, whether the speakers are worth $40 or $4,000.

I'm okay with getting rich! Sometimes I do your method, sometimes I just respond to my own before going to others' posts. I'm not sure which method brings me more coins, but I'll start paying more attention to that.

Yes you are going to be rich but not through mylot but the repair work you do. I was busy on Sunday as went to see my aunt who lives 30 kms away from our home.

I do that too. My day is going great. gonna cook some BBQ chicken for supper and tidy up for going int o the week. I find if I do not tidy up today the week turns into a bear
