I was at physical therapy ready to leave and the thought about going to the local clothing center popped into my head. At that moment I thought it was Wednesday as they are only open Wednesday and Saturday. So I get to the Clothing Center and the door was open but it was dark so I hollared for someone and a lady I recognized from previous visits was there. I thought it was odd that the lights weren't on... So I said to her O I was just after a couple of puzzles for my husband. So she pointed out to me where they were. So I prayed and asked the Holy Spirit to show me which ones he would like. So I picked three out and she said it would be $2.00, awesome! So I take them home and showed him. He was happy with what I picked out and got started on one right away. So then I'm in the bathroom and all of a sudden I realized what had just happened. It was actually Monday not Wednesday, so they weren't open even LOL I felt so embarrassed and laughed at myself! The lady was there organizing for when they open on Wednesday and Saturday. Here God gave me favor with her and she let me buy those puzzles when they weren't even opened. At first I felt really stupid...Wondering what that lady must have thought. But she was very kind to me. It was a God moment. My memory especially short term is not good and so I get confused about what day it is at times, I've learned to not take it too seriously and laugh at myself. But God was watching out for me and used this lady to bless me. My heart was into blessing my husband with puzzles as he's retired and works once in a while, so he gets bored. Well he's nearly done with his first puzzle. I will take a picture of it and post it here when its done so you can see. It's a very hard puzzle and he has worked hard on it. I'm proud of him. And I'm so thankful to God for having my back in a moment of confusion, thinking it was Wednesday and lady was so kind to let me get the puzzles and pay her for them when they weren't even open LOL! I've gotten use to I call them "God Moments"! As He knows how confused I am at times. It would be scarey to me if I didn't know God is watching out for me. I did feel embarrassed for a few minutes when I realized it was actually Monday and they weren't even open for business LOL! Thank You God for having my back! Have you ever had things like that happen to you? Picture by Bing.com

@just4him Yes I am so grateful the Holy Spirit helps me. I would be so lost without Him. I need to get to know the Holy Spirit more, any suggestions?

@Butchcass4 Read 1 Corinthians. Chapters 12-14 focus on the Holy Spirit and what he does for us.

I have a terrible memory as well so I understand how it feels. It can be very embarassing at times but since there is nothing we can do we just have to laugh and shrug it off. Awesome deals on the puzzles. I am so glad the woman was so kind to you.

@shaggin Yes I am so glad that the lady was so kind and let me get the puzzles for my hubby. You are so right that we just have to laugh at ourselves and trust that God has our backs! As He understands how we work LOL!

@maezee Yes it is similar to a thrift store. They have lots of puzzles there! So he puts them together and when he's done with them I just take them back so someone else can do them. I definitely got a great deal!

@marlina You may have and don't realize it too! As I wasn't aware of what was going on until God revealed it to me, its like a duh moment! Maybe you are kinda like my husband and have an excellent memory too. I am very glad my husband is enjoying the puzzles too. Until the weather breaks he doesn't have much to do. When the weather breaks he lives outside, except for his late morning nap. He doesn't sleep through the night, he sleeps on and off. He got up last night around well it wasn't quite 9pm but he made a pot of coffee. I got up to see what was going on and I said; "Coffee this time of night?" He said it doesn't stop him from sleeping! I beg to differ. But I'm not his mother so he does his thing!

Now we're retired one day is much like another and sometimes we have to think hard to remember what day it is.

@JudyEv My husband and I have difficulty grasping what day it is too. I rely on God to help me. I don't know what I would do without Him guiding and directing my life!
