How Not To Describe Your Child

I was looking at a picture of a missing child below it the mother gives details of the child. Green eyes, yep see those and blonde hair. Her hair in the picture is brown. Not, blonde, dark blonde or even blondish. Brown, medium. Maybe her hair is dyed, but if I was the mother should have stated such, but if someone is going by the picture they won't be looking for a blonde girl.
This isn't the first time I've seen a parent claim their brown haired child was blonde. Wishful thinking, perhaps, but if it was my child I'd be as accurate as possible.
Regardless, I hope the child is found safe.

Maybe she dyed her hair blonde but did not have an updated picture of her with it ? Alot of kids color their hair all the time. Either way i hope she finds her child safe and sound.

I thought about that too, but if so the mother should have said. Of course, she might not have thought about it.

It is absolutely impossible to describe anyone, much less your own child. How do you describe you love him, how do you tell the way he looks at you when he calls you Mom? I have never been able to describe anyone and I´m a writer in my own language. I show their actions.

It was a physical description of what the child looks like.

@irishidid Cops always ask for that. And mothers will never say their child is ugly.
