My husband is going to Chicago

He told me this afternoon. He flies out tomorrow and will be back at some point on Wednesday. . . I'm assuming Wednesday night. I guess that means we won't be doing dinner and trivia this week.
He enjoys travelling so he will have fun with the experience. Me? I would hate having to deal with the whole airport/hotel hassle, plus flying (I am scared to death of flying) for just an overnight stay somewhere. If I have to go through all of that, it needs for be at least for 4 or 5 days.

@NJChicaa We traveled to a builder's show in Baton Rouge, La. one year. At that time, Jay was in partnership with another man, they opened a small building center store in our town. Jay had to select some items to sell on their shelves. I went along, because Doug said it was all right. We were there for a weekend and we got to see Bourbon Street, what a shocker!:(
