So, I made myself a tie-dye t-shirt for Valentines day. It was supposed to be a heart in the middle. There is a vague heartness to it, but its nothing like the heart looked like in the "fool proof" tutorial I followed.
That was my "valentine" shirt. lol
Meanwhile I made a second one that was supposed to be a yin-yang. I'm galling it my Yang-yang shirt becaue both the black and white spots turned out black.
I wore that one to work today and two people told me they liked it. One of them said, "You know what would be a good side hustle for you? Doing crafts to kids."
"Where am I supposed to do crafts with kids?" I asked, because I don't even have room in my house to do crafts with me. Then I laughed and added, "Where am I supposed to get the kids for that matter!"
It's funny though, I've thought before bout having a small business doing kid craft birthday parties. I like doing kid crafts beter than grownup art anyway. lol
Have you ever tried to make a tie dye t-shirt? Did yours turn out the way you wanted it to?

I have done one when I was a kid. I think it turned ok. I have done crafts with kids once during Vacation Bible School at my church. The kids didn't believe that I was adult. I look young for my age.

The shirt doesn't look bad and you can see a heart in there. I have never done tie dye but my grand daughters made tie dye shoes one time, they are actually pretty cute.

The party idea sounds like it might work and no, I've never tie-dyed anything. They were all the rage once.

No I have not. I think you having your own business is an awesome idea. Start taking pictures of your crafts that you do with the kids. Keep up with how long each takes and the cost, the cost would be for you so to know how much to charge per party... Damn I think I got excited for you!
