You are right unless we explore how can we know. I know so little about your country except that a long time ago people from who spoke Spanish went exploring there. So do many people use English. I can see you write English well. Did you learn a second language at an early age?
This is a nice post so interesting. I like when you wrote it is a place without seasons. :-)

I just noticed that a lot of people based their concept about Colombia on Netflix show “Pablo Escobar” - “Narcos” and they think my country is like that because of that show haha. Usually when I met someone from other country when I say I’m from Colombia, the answer is “oh yes? I love Narcos”. That’s why I started this discussion haha.
I studied English for 5 Years when I was kid, I try to practice everyday, but still learning,

Oh that’s great, Panama was a part of Colombia several years ago, and Cartagena it’a a lovely place, one of my favorite cities in Colombia.
