How did we come to existence?

You never know, this could be true. The possibilities are endless. I think a small part of us can all agree that...we honestly don't know. I know different religions teach us how we came to existence, and I respect that. But none of us were actually there, so we don't know for sure. Just an interesting thought haha. The answer to your question is right at most peoples fingertips, the Bible. The very first Bible book of Genesis gives you the clear answer. Please read in your spare time, Genesis chapters 1 and 2. Of course it will take a measure of faith on your part to believe in the creation of all things by God (Revelation 4:11, Hebrews 3:4).

@taciaelisepeace the truth of God's Word is not complicated and as I've previously stated it will take a measure of faith to believe the simple uncomplicated truth of the Bible's explanation of how ALL things came into existence. Think about this: If the Bible were to give us EVERY little detail about how things came about from A-Z, you, I, and others would be dumbfounded to say the least. It would mostly take volumes upon countless volumes to break down an explanation of how our universe, our earth, the things on the earth, and our human existence came about, and then still then people would not be satisfied. They would probably complain that it's to much information or to much of an explanation for them to understand. Thank goodness Jehovah God has given us a simple to the point explanation of how all things came into existence. Who could or would be able to understand ALL the equations, specific processes, all the materials and the length of time it took to bring things about? Scientist are still trying to figure out outer space and the planets and how they came about. People want to believe that humans evolved from a lower form of life. But how can that be so when the Bible says each creation was created according to its own kind. Also, if humans evolved from apes, why has the evolution process stopped? Why have apes stopped evolving into humans? And are humans still evolving to higher life forms? Question: what did fruit and vegetables evolve from? Just something to think about

@itslikethistome There are still some holes in the story that I think science fills in completely. Still we dont truly know, we werent there when those stories were written, interpreted, and altered. Dont get me wrong i respect it, im just saying there has to be more to it. And to me evolution makes 100% sense. There is physical evidence proving it. Thanks for sharing your beliefs :)

I have heard and read it many times. I still think theres more to it or alternatives to it. We werent there when this earth came about, so how do we know whats true? :)

I agree. No one has ever known how did we ever come to existence just like the question "Who comes first, the chicken or the egg? " lol

Exactly! To me I still find it kind of a mystery.

Of course the chicken came first. Papa chicken and mama chicken united and mama chicken became inpregnated and eventually laid eggs and they hatched and so papa and mama chicken was there to care for their chickadees. The same goes for a human baby, that little one didn't come before it's parents. If the egg came first who would care for the egg(s)? If a human baby came first or before it's parents who would care for the baby?

Aliens put us on Earth as Adam and Eve. Maybe a bunch of different Adam and Eve all over the Earth.

All the pieces to the mystery of life comes forward when you learn that it didn't start with cells. A cell is a very complex structure and wouldn't pop up with just random chemical interactions, but smaller life components could come together randomly. A virus is alive, but it is just code. Like a wolf attempting to take on a large prey animal, it is the case of a small form of life trying to survive. If it does take down the big prey, it uses it to reproduce and make more of itself. Now, think of where that code came from. If what it was composed of was even smaller than what we think we know now. Proto-life (as I call it) is what exists in the world we have never seen. And that's what assembles together to produce new viruses or new cells in the world. The building blocks are there. We just have a really difficult time finding them!

@taciaelisepeace Just think of the complexity of a strand of DNA. That is a lot of information that would take a long time to just pop up on its own. As all things beautiful and grand, they were formed in small bites over a vast period of time. The building blocks of the universe are the same way, and at the smallest particle you have something that is neither matter nor energy. They just haven't found it yet. :)

@OneOfMany I love this! (Sorry I missed your comment earlier) but you do have a point. Its probably really small considering we are made up of small particles.

I really find this point of view interesting. I like the idea that it could be something smaller than we can't see that created cells and codes.

Religious people think one thing...scientific people think another...and believers in aliens think something else I don't much care...I'm here and that's all that counts

That question is still unanswered; whether it's evolution or creation. What is important is we are alive and enjoying life on earth.

This was just something kind of light and different to me. I mean really we weren't there so how can we really know? I respect your views and some belief in God myself.
