Valentine's Day

Last night, I made some list of important things to do for today's occasion - Valentine's Day. I even posted it on the wall so I won't forget it when I wake up in the morning. Some things I listed were: do some grocery shopping, run errands, have dinner with my husband in a fancy restaurant. So I envisioned everything to be perfect. However, I woke up late this morning. The alarm clock was not working - it didn't ring, or maybe it did but I didn't hear it. Maybe because I slept late last night (okay, it was already morning). My husband told me to calm down. Okay, so I woke up late in the afternoon which means I barely have time to do some grocery shopping but there are still sufficient food in the fridge that I can cook for lunch. In fact, there's more than enough food for both of us that we didn't even got to a fancy restaurant for dinner. We stayed home and had a candlelight dinner - cheaper and more romantic.
