Do you love animals? I mean all of them, not only your dog and cat.
When I became vegan I saw the big difference. For some cultures it's ok to eat dog and cats, for some other cows, pigs and chicken.
I think animals should be treated the same, in every culture, in every religion. If you are an animal lover do not give love to your dog and eat a chicken.
Do you know they are a lot of people who has chicken or pigs as pets?

When I was just reading your title I already knew my answer to it. If I were an animal lover then I would be a vegan. But I'm not. But I don't eat dogs and cats and I don't eat pigs. And my friend has a variety of chicken they call silkies coz of it's long hair but nobody eat that kind of chicken here.

I love your response Toni. Do you think that maybe in the near future the possibility to become vegan for the animals? Some people go vegan for diet of lifestyle, but a true vegan goes for the animals.

Yes, I love animals. I don't remember ever killing one, except a few insects. How do feel about mosquitoes?

As a vegan i tried to make the less harm as possible. For mosquitoes I think the best thing is to use repellent.

I mostly eat a plant based diet these days. If more people had to get down to it and butcher their meat, I believe there would be less meat eaters. I do not have the grit that it takes to face making an animal edible though I have eaten their flesh. My husband has butchered but not me.

What would a Rancher do for a living @AlwaysPositive ? Plus most animals of all breeds would have to be spayed or neutered to stop reproduction; otherwise you would have a glut of the entire animal species.

I think a rancher will look for other ideas of making money, like this millionaire Bill Gates who invested in Beyond meat, because he knows that the world sooner will be mostly vegan. Did you know that cows get rapped in order to produce milk? Do you know that the oceans are getting emptied for the greed of sea food? Do you know that a lot of species are in danger and we already lost a lot because of our ego? If we respect the circle of life and not alter anything we wouldn't have the problems we are facing in the world now.

@AlwaysPositive I agree that animal cruelty is beyond the pale. Maybe if the 'human' population were to diminish (6.5 Billion to 7.2 Billion in 10 Years); then maybe the animals would have a chance. I would rather see humans 'sterilized' versus the animals.

I like animals very much but not all. I love cats, dogs and dolphins but not sure about the others.

I love watching videos of adorable dogs and cats but I am not an animal lover myself. Ironically, I am afraid of dogs when they come near me and I find cats aloof. haha!
