Tomorrow, February 16, is a day of Lunar New Year of the Chinese community. This is a big festival which will also be celebrated in Vietnam, and it's called Tet which is a shortened form of T?t Nguyên Ðán, meaning "Feast of the First Morning of the First Day". Locals were busy preparing and planning for this year's activities. They will start the celebration from the 16th and will end on the 22nd of this month, or sometimes will extend for another week. They have a long holiday which means shops, supermarkets, and some business establishments will close for a couple of days which resulted to long queues in supermarkets days before the holiday. Children are the most excited ones because they will be receiving money from their parents and relatives, while the adults will be traveling to their hometowns to celebrate the event with their love ones. As a foreigner of Vietnam, I am very thrilled to be part of the festivities since this will be my first time to experience celebrating with the locals. What's the biggest event in your country are you most excited about?
