Is it only me or do any of you think that iPhones don't last as long as they used to.
My iPhone 4 lasted 6 years before it was given away as it was unreliable.
My wife's iPhone 5s is 4 years old and still works well enough and my mom now uses it. It had a problem with an oscillator crystal that made time keeping unreliable but this problem is intermittent.
My friends iPhone 6s has completely conked off in 2 years time. The apple store said that it was out of warranty and they would replace it for Rs. 28000 with a 3 month warranty.
My wife's iPhone 7 occasionally freezes, but recovers completely and seems fine.
I see lots of people changing every time a new iPhone comes.
Are iPhones becoming less reliable?

Newer technology doesn't last long anymore, cheap parts so I get that same experience too. They want you to keep upgrading to the new phone ~ not an old phone.

@EddieHands Phones are useful cause you could earn from them and save money too.

@pitstop I'd like a new phone when Apple fixes the bugs

The old one I had after a year started to work not good, and very slow and no matter what I did- I couldn't fix it :I I think they do that on purpose so everybody will have to get new phones.. not that long after phone was bought.

Iphone did make a statement stating they slowed down older gen phones on purpose so people would be forced to upgrade.
