Sleep Paralysis

I recently heard about people having something called "sleep paralysis", and it shocked me... I didn't know that it's possible to be awake and in a dream state at the same time. Moreover, you can't even move while it's happening. Your body is still in REM state, and your whole body paralyzed. But the worst part is that you're seeing horrific things in front of you... Dark figures that could be around you or even on top of you. And you can feel them. Has anyone ever experienced this? What is it like? And if you haven't experienced this, what do you think of it? Can you imagine experiencing it?

I have had several experiences of that in the past and the one time it happened, I just prayed and it never happened to me ever again.

That's horrible! I had dreamed of not being able to move because of something is forbidding me from doing so but it's just a dream, haven't seen any dark forces being on top of me, It's really frightening!

I have never experienced sleep paralysis. I had many vivid dreams and what I have seen in my dreams happened weeks or months later.

I don't remember ever having this happen to me and I don't think I would want to

Things like this happen to me sometimes when I'm half awake but still dreaming and I'm aware that I'm still dreaming or when I'm dreaming and I can't seem to move or keep my eyes open or even scream.
