She has her hands full

My daughter-in-law had a couple of trips to the ER with her 14 year old at the end of last week. First diagnosis was an asthma attack, but the problem persisted.
After seeing three or four care providers she convinced them to swab for the flu. It was type B flu causing the problems.
Yesterday my son came home from work with the flu. He has never had the flu before in his life.
She says even her big dog acts like he has the flu.
She has another daughter that she expects will be sick soon.
Then of course there is the child she baby sits.
She has her hands full this week. But I am not going there.

Flu is caused by Virus and it takes its own course to get itself cured! Don't worry things will be alright for your son's family very soon! God bless dear @GardenGerty! Thanks!

As long as they do not get other infections on top of it, yes, they should be okay. I know that they are miserable.

@GardenGerty that could be the reason. I hardly go out.

@allknowing That would be the reason. You do not go anywhere to get exposed.

Actually she ended up with the flu, but the youngest daughter did not. They are all better now.

The care providers should have swabbed for the flu at the start. It seems that the flu rages through where your daughter-in-law lives.

It is all around this year. Our state is supposedly the sickest state in the US right now.

I am sorry they will get through this. Don't let the news scare you about the flu. Kids are strong and can definitely fight it off. Hydration rest doctor care..
