The responsibility of marriage

There's something to be said about having another person be responsible for your welfare as much as you are. To have your "human". It's a lost art, I think. Unconditional love. Do you know what it takes to love someone?

I think it takes give and take from both people, it takes putting somebody else above yourself, I am still learning. I have been married to my wonderful husband 33, almost 34 years and am still learning about him and how amazing he is. Marriage is work and will always be work. Don't get me wrong it is fun, but never take it for granted.

Love is patient and love is kind, just to get started. The patience and the kindness have to be reciprocated, it cannot be all one way. But most importantly, love is not indecisive. Love is.
