Lame parent threats

Which ones do you remember or have you used. My favorite was always "if you don't start behaving, Christmas will be cancelled."

"If you're not home by 9 o'clock you're not going out for the next 3 months"...at least my mom thought this threat has an effect on me...I allways got home later than promissed,and the next day she forgot all about it and I was free to go ! :D

My parents never set a curfew for me. Probably because they knew I had absolutely no social life.

If you don't clean up your room, the dust bunnies are going to eat you. Wow, now I know how savage that sounded. Another one was, if you don't go to school, you can't go out to play later on. I always did anyway.

yeah...the old days....when i found out that there isn't a Santa Clause...i cried my heart out...those were the days.....:D
