Or should I say, scamming hacker who pretended to represent paypal. I received an email from paypal today and thought to be interesting to read. Until I realized that this is one of those fake links that ends up hacking your paypal account. But then I quickly log in to my paypal but did not click the link in this fake email, nothing bad happened. I've shown a screen shot over here, and Immediately noticed the difference. It clearly stated at first that it's been updated but how can it get suspended? sheesh The only last legitimate email I got from them was a cancelled subscription from skype. Be careful on what to read on your email and don't just CLICK.

All the PayPal phishing attempts that I got were in English while PayPal writes in French for me. Updated and suspended?

@Letranknight2015 It is possible. I have been targeted last year during several months by somebody using various email addresses to send fake bills from real companies. Any attachment had a Windows virus inside. I started to send them after 2 months to virustotal where I realized that their virus were "new", detected only by 2 or 3 antivirus on the 40 used by this site. It would have been fearsome on a Windows computer. They had probably a way to detect who was sending their virus to analyze as it stopped suddenly quickly after I posted them.

@topffer I don't even trust AVG and I couldn't renew my subscription with Mc Afee because they only accept paypal from other countries and not mine.

I'm constantly getting fake PayPal emails. I just forward them to spoof@ paypal.com and they reply with a thank you for alerting them to it.

This is their old trick to send some stupid message and then ask for login. Hower the mouse over the link and know the real link, it is not from PayPal.com.

Hello @cintol Well, some people just don't know how to use Information technology / computer science right. This is why we are not ready for advance technology.
