Comment or write discussion?

I feel like I earn more with writing discussion, about five folds. It is understandable since a discussion will lead to much more comments and interactions.
The bad thing for me is I tend to write comments with a lot more effort than I put on my own discussion. I think it was because I do not have any specific person to talk to when I write up a discussion and it disheartens me somehow. How do other writers deal with this phenomenon? I would love to know.

I also think that I seem to earn more on the days when I start a discussion. It's not how much one writes but more about what one writes.

I think if you can generate many ideas a day it also increases your chance of more earning. Those ideas must be genuine though, spamming won't work for sur.e

@Allamanda Surprisingly this month, I had one day that I earned 94 cents. It was the highest I ever had in the many years I have been here.

@1hopefulman Wow, how many activities did you do on that day or how many interactions that you generated from your activities? This post is my most popular so far and I make 15 cents from it in 2 days :)).

I also write comments than writing discussions. I think because when people talk about something, depending on the discussion, I know how to answer lol. If I right a discussion, I would only do it for advice than to bringing ideas or just to write about anything.

Ah that's right. On a side note, I am horrified with the attention this post is getting. Part of me do not like to be put in the spotlight while commenting is more personal.

I think so too. Because we create more space for interaction.

You need to balance both .If you can't make discussion ,don't worry, comment on other's post .You can get rewards only for interactions. You will nothing ,incase no one makes comment on your discussion .
Now you can understand I think so.
Have a great day and best of luck.

The reason why I love mylot is that I can live and be happy here without writing my own discussion. You don't have to force yourself to make your own discussion when you can just enjoy interacting with others.
