The weather can be a very interesting topic. Let me tell you about the last hurricane we had. We were huddled in a school listening to the wind tear things up and the rain pouring down in sheets, sideways. The weather is something we all experience and we can swap stories. I remember the ice storm. Trees exploded and the roads were impassible.

I have more fun teasing others...interacting with everybody. My own discussions are the world's worst and most boring if I may say so. I don't blame anybody not visiting them, and if the visitors number crosses 10 - 15..I get nervous because I have to be there in that boring phase. I truly have no sense of humor.

I was at a lecture given by the writer Neil Gaiman several years ago... he said that his advice for aspiring writers was to write *something* for at least an hour a day. Do nothing but write during that hour. If you're having writers' block, then just sit there and do absolutely nothing for that hour. No Facebook, no solitare, no TV... nothing. After a few minutes of sitting there and doing nothing, you'll probably find something to write about.

I am a big procrastinator. One good way to get writing again is to write down a memory. It could be anything. It might be your favorite aroma of grandma's baking bread. It could be a party or a good time you had. Just write down anything and you may think of a story or article and start it.

Good morning! :-)
I usually don't have a problem writing. I have this whole notebook of ideas for topics to write about, if I don't have anything fresh in my mind to write about. It's huge! One time I hope to be closer to caught up, but I'm always thinking of stuff.
Anyway I agree with you. If you don't feel you have something to say, say something about that....

@amadeo Thanks! I always want to "catch up" with writing about what's in it - but as I write I find I have more ideas to write down

I think, perfectionism stunts the creative muse. You're right, keep writing. Thanks.
