Today i would like to post a discussion on reason behind the usage of drums and nadaswaram. In Indian marriages nadaswaram ,drums,trumpets were common in wedding ceremony.The reason behind that one is during the marriage knot event ,no one should hear bad words or bad news.For this musical instruments were used to produce a marriage tune. So one can hear the bad words or bad news.This was the exact reason behind the usage of musical instruments. Today also the same tradition is followed. I just saw an event in movie ,so idea came on posting this discussion.
