I think you are referring to the Bride and Groom coming home after the honeymoon. Mine was an arranged marriage and everything was prepared by my parents. The function was at a nice hotle by a lagoon in the suburbs of Sri Lanka. The guests, my friends the bestmen and bridesmaids were all there. The homecoming in Sri Lanka is done entirely by the Grooms side. The wedding funcion is handled by the Bride's parents.
