I used to be a vegetarian for 7 years, but the smell of cooking meat started to smell delicious so I started eating meat again and I've never thought about it again.
In general, I think vegetarians have a better diet than meat-eaters, but there are many bad things you can put in your body whether you're a veggie or meat-eater. I've seen vegetarians with some of the worst eating habits in the world!

I'm vegetarian. I decided to became vegetarian when I was a child and I became vegetarian when I went to live alone, out of my family because my parents didn't want I was vegetarian.
I decided to become vegetarian for ethic reasons.
You are Indian. I know that in your country people following the Hindu religion are vegetarian, aren't they?
And yet, I think that the cult of the "sacred cow" (I hope you understand, excuse me for my terrible English) is a very beautiful choice. A possibility by an interesting civilization like yours.

i am a meat eater, but i try to squeeze some veggies in my diet. eating purely meat or purely veggies is not very healthful. our body needs nourishment from both of them.
