When I first came her people actually discussed discussions. Now It's just a list of answers and no discussing, do you think this is a bad thing - I do. I used to enjoy a proper discussion far more, how about you?

I prefer discussions, but that is the hazard of having a site pay it's members. Especially if it is pay per post. It takes time to write out thought provoking answers or discussions. Some people don't even want to take the time to do it.

It is difficult to find anything to discuss and if you write too much people don't seem to even read it. I keep looking for something, anything interesting but it's so hard to get things going now, it didn't use to be, I used to love being here, now I'll probably drift away again.

Absolutely Rainbow I think if there was a limit to the number of discussions a member could start each day, for example another web site I visits you are allowed only 10 "new discussions" a day. But then you can contibute to as many discussions as you wish. The turn over in new topics on the home page is too quick you are not encourage to revisit topics you have contributed to. I enjoy a proper discussion.

I'm so glad, I though no-one would even answer this. I spent ages trying to find something new to join in with and then gave up and answered the one liners yesterday. I wish I could find something exciting to talk about right now but I have to trawl through my e-mails and sort them out first. Put something thought provoking on soon please

Yes I totally agree with you there I joined 4 weeks ago and it is a bit hard to find a decent discussion But from what I understand now mylot is clamping down now and deleting useless discussions

Sometimes the useless ones are fun, even got to the stage of starting them myself last nigh just to see if I got more response, I will now spend ages trying to understand some of the replies. I would like to be able to talk about interesting things and be able to use more thatn 5 wirds in a reply sometimes. Thank you for agreeing with me.

I have found little to discuss...mostly just questions! I agree, a discussion would be more fun & productive!

I quite like the odd quick question, don't get me wrong, I haven't been on for a while and really noticed a change. I know it's hard to think up new things all the time, and as I get a bit lost with politics I miss out sometimes, but I'm sure we could at least get a bit of a conversation going.

Well I'm new here and I've posted a few discussions but it seems like no one is intrested in them. I don't know how to get people intrested but it seems like the stupid questions get alot of resposes. I don't want to post like that but it looks tempting.

it is tempting, I haven't been here for a while and gave in to it yesterday while doing my chores but it's just not as much fun. I need to have friends on here that put interesting things that make me think. I would like to learn interesting stuff while I chat, just for interests sake. Wouldn't you?
