Well that was interesting. LOL I took my first Uber ride, today. I loaded the app on my phone, added a debit card, and requested a ride.
Almost got into the wrong car. ha! The delivery guy from the Indian restaurant downtown thought I was his customer. LOL
Unfortunately the map was somehow screwed up (and do is my vision) and I ended up at the wrong Tim Horton's. I was able to explain what happened in writing though, and we got to the one I usually go to. Why in writing, you ask? My driver, a wonderful man, was deaf! I'm legally blind, so we made for quite a pair. Fortunately, my iPhone is always in my hand, and if I wanted to say something, I just had to type it. I gave him a 5 star review, and left a tip on the app. The whole situation reminded me of one of my favourite old songs.

Been using Uber for sometime already and I'm generally satisfied with the service.

I like it even better than taxis! I don't get charged for every credit card transaction.

It was also honest. If he had been incompetent, it would've shown in his rating. i knew what the problem was, and it wasn't his deafness.
