Nanette was an amazing actress and singer, who did so many roles over her long career. She had one child and her niece is Shelley Fabares, who is an actress. Nanette's husband passed in 1973 and she has passed away at 97 years.
She was the comedic partner of Sid Caesar on Caesars's Hour and won 3 Emmy's. One Day At A Time 1979 to 1984 and 13 guest appearances on The Carol Burnett Show. One of my favorite roles was her appearance on What's My Line, as a mystery guest. I watched her on 230 episodes of The Hollywood Squares, as loved the show. Some of you will remember her for 1953 The Band Wagon. She did guest appearances on many shows. Did you see her on television? Rest in peace you are missed by many people.

She gave great answers on game shows, so entertained me for many years. I'm a game show fan, as learned so much information quickly from shows she was on then. In the early years of television there weren't many channels, so you didn't have a lot to make your decision about whether to even turn on the television. You had to be really good, as there weren't do overs like today.

97 is a good age. It's nice that you remember her so well.
