Moving into a house

I've never had to move into a house--only apartments. Typically, what do people do to move into a house, on a day-by-day basis.
For instance, I would think all the heavy furniture would be moved in on the first day. But, really, I'm more curious about what people wind up doing to move in on the second or third day.
What do you think?

I would imagine moving into a house or apartment is all the same unless you are moving into a funished place. You have to unpack and organize no matter what you live in.
