I was reading about about the topic of emotional abuse.
The main points that I came across online are:
People who suffer from emotional abuse tend to have very low self-esteem, and may even become depressed and anxious.
It can cause loss of sense of identity, dignity, and self-worth.
The main examples of emotional abuse are:
Excessively criticizing
Making derogative or slanderous statements about an individual to others
Name calling or insults; mocking
Withholding important information
Threats
Ignoring or excluding / Socially isolating an individual
Isolating
Humiliating an individual
Denial of the abuse and blaming of the victim
Make sure that you never put anyone through emotional abuse by taking into consideration of the points above. We should never excessively criticise anyone.

I shall keep that in mind. Sometimes you never even realize you are doing it. It is always good to reflect on yourself every now and then.

Would never do that to anyone. I think the two worst things in this life are emotional and physical abuse.
