Fellow vegans, what gives?

I've been vegan for almost a full decade now, and I'm as healthy as I have ever been. This being said, I'd like to figure out what is up with all of the loudly vocal vegan people giving all vegans a bad name. Yes the majority of people would probably be a lot healthier if they would at the very minimum cut back on their meat consumption, but have you not stopped to think that not all bodies are created the same way? I have met several people who, in spite of all of the suplements they take are never healthy on a plant based diet. Not every one is able to live happily and healthily on a single diet, and why any one believes there is a one solution for the health problems of all people.
sincerely
One confused vegan

In terms of right and wrong, I believe that sustainability should be considered. It's important for every one to be able to have access to the food they need, but not at the expense of other people or the environment. Meat has been an important part of many cultures and people's diets for many centuries, and we shouldn't forget that.

I'm not a vegan but I don't eat pork and I rarely eat beef. I'm 40 and I've never really been sick even with flu for many years. I'm not taking any meds for maintenance.
I know I'll never be vegan because I'm a very picky eater and I can't live on veggies alone. But I have friends who are vegan and we all get along well. None of them told me to switch to vegan.

Honestly, it really depends on how you do it. Is very possible for a lot of people to remain extremely healthy on a balanced vegan diet. The biggest thing is that you have to know what you're doing and you have to be conscious of what you are eating. You also have to pay attention to body cues and know what you were craving and why. In my opinion it is almost as easy to be on a healthy vegan diet as it is to be on a healthy omnivorous diet indulge in things that are obviously bad for you.
