The Digital Age

Technology today is at a all time high. Information is at our fingertips. Currency is exchanged and transactions are made all across the world in seconds. We can hold face to face conversations with people on the other side of the world from pocket computers. Everything can be done in an instant. The birth of the digital age has simplified so many things for us and made our lives much more enjoyable...or has it? Everything looks nice to the naked eye, but convenience often comes at a price that's way too high. Let me explain.
In today's world, we are all usually in a rush. There never seems to be enough time to get every thing done, so we fall sucker to what is convenient. We tend to eat "fast" foods and meals made in an "instant" rather than nutritious home cooked meals because that takes time, therefore we fail to feed our body with the necessary vitamins and minerals and we also reap the consequence for eating artificial ingredients. It is recommended that the body receive 6-8 hours of sleep at night. Pssh, who has time for that. A lot of people catch power naps and fill in the gaps with maximum doses of caffeine, either from coffee or from all these new energy drinks and supplements that wasn't too popular just 20 years ago, which also causes an imbalance in the body when consumed regularly. Probably within the next 15-20 years, currency will be completely digital, which is quicker and more sanitary, but it is also unsecured if you look at it from a point where a bank error or hacker could move a decimal point and clear your entire life earnings. Think about it. As of today, even people with bank accounts keep money in other places life safes at home, or buried in their yards etc., but if all currency is digital, there's nothing to hide from those with sticky fingers(this means authority figures and organizations in charge too, if you catch my drift). But anyways, it feels like I'm rambling with no kind of organization to what I'm saying, and I could continue, but you get what I'm saying, I hope. But I'm curious to what others believe about technology and the way the masses rely on it today. I'm not stating if I'm for it or against it. I was just pointing out a few things that most people may not realize.

I also agree with this one. It is really scary that there will be time that our money will become digital with only one glance everything will be disappeared if we are not careful. :(
