The person who steals a pocket or cash from your pocket is known as Pickpocket!
I think they are present almost in every City and every Town, at crowded places to show their skill!
In India, In Delhi Metro trains recently a gang a group was nabbed and it has come to light that this years in in Metro trains alone there were 373 cases of pick-pocketing ! The amount thus stolen was more than two million rupees !
It is very risky to travel in crowded bus, Metro trains and Local trains because these pickpockets are actively working here.
It is really a big trouble for the daily commuters to Office and back who take public transport !
Have you ever faced any Pick-Pocketing incident any time? Do you have lot of pickpockets in the city or town where you live? Please Respond!

I already responded to your other topic and explained one incident. It is really bad people are engaged in this bad act. Almost everyday I can watch a victim. The main problem is, if the gent's purse stolen, they not only lost money but their valuable documents also as they have the habit of keeping them in the valet. I have heard many complaints like, never mind for loosing money but what to do with my documents, like PAN, driving license, debit/credit cards etc.
One day another incident happened, a youth stolen a mobile but the people in the bus followed him and this guy entered in our bus but they requested the driver to stop the bus and caught him. Many beaten him badly with rods and sticks. When the mob is angry they lost their humanity or ethics.

It's normally bad in the UK at Christmas time when the shops are busy. I make sure my bag is zipped up so that no one can reach in and steal my money. The rest of the year isn't too bad although I'm always careful.

Yes, that is the time when you have lot of rush in the market and every body is in hurry, taking advantage of these factors the pickpockets show their skill on innocent people! Thanks dear friend @sprite1950 for responding! Have a nice time!

That is so sad dear @prashu228 ! The pickpockets are smart and they constantly follow the vulnerable prey ! When did it happen?

Although, pickpockets are crafty in what they do, some people are just asking for pickpocketed. Example one is in the picture you shared above.
