I previously bought a Samsung s4 my little daughter threw it down the stairs and it had a black screen.
I then bought a s5 and as luck would have it my other daughter took up my phone, I heard a commotion only to find that my daughter decide to throw my phone into the wall because my big son was trying to take it from her.
The screen did not survive that throw at all it got crack really bad. These 2 phones are working but screen is totally black. The sad thing I only have the phone for like a week.
I contain my anger because I know in myself that the first thing I should have done is to put it a protective case and probable under lock and key.
You would not believe what happen after I decided to get a blu instead. I was getting ready to leave my home and told my other son to put my phone on charge he did.
The only thing he didn’t do is to put it inside the house, he put it on the verandah where it is easy accessible by passersby and you can figure out what happen next so currently I don’t have a phone so, I am thinking like how I have so much luck with phones (: I would fixed the S5, but my husband is saying it would be better if I buy than replace the screen.
What do you think is replacing the screen a better option or buying?
I am definitely going to be extra careful: going to get a case and put my phone under lock and key if I have to.
Phones hate me but I hope the next doesn’t else I will be getting a dialler

I haven't broken one phone yet but I don't throw them against the wall.

Besides buying a protective case, install shatter proof tempered glass on the screen. Maybe you should just get a new one.
