What does a ballgame, a school sandwich, a party snack mix and bowls in a bar have in common? Nuts, without nuts our dishes would lack crunch, flavor and texture. Nuts are used to make salads, pestos, cookies and cakes among others.
Peanuts, Almonds, Pecans and Walnuts are the top nuts being consumed in the United States. What do you consume most?

I love all kinds of nuts too. At CVS I found the $1 mixed nuts with brazil nuts and all the rest of the nuts and it's so good, just a tad bit too salty, but I like it. I put almond slivers in my yogurt as well as coconut shavings with frozen fruits and it's so delicious. Sometimes all I eat for breakfast or dinner is this yogurt that I put all the above ingredients. With all mentioned plus hazel and Brazil nuts is what I love. I love to munch on nuts ...peanuts too.

That's Great, sadly we don't have Brazil nuts and hazel nuts here. Big supermarkets sell them but a small bottle costs about $5, what we have here are lots of peanuts, cashewnuts and chestnuts.

Sorry to hear that about hazel and brazil nuts. I know what you mean though. An 8 oz pkg of shelled walnut halves cost 8.49 at Walmart. So I settle for almond slivers which are much less...4 oz. for 2.48. I love them in my yogurt that at Target for 32 oz. is just 2.77 usually. Today I went to Target Store for my yogurt and it was on sale for 2.58! I was so delighted and though I had to brave drizzles I was delighted to get it at an in-store sale for it!

@Kakashi20 Exactly, it is a legume of the same family as beans and peas.

Yep which someone from here reminded me that it's not a nut but a legume related to the pea family

Mixed nuts bag but the imported ones with walnuts and pecans, almonds are a bit expensive so the local brands with cashew, peanuts and even peas lol is also fine with me. Yes pili nuts also, with the shell or turned to sweets.
