Yesterday we went to the doctor for check up of my mother and have schedule of chemos for her. As her all scheduled chemos were cancelled for the time being because she got ill and was hospitalized after the first one.
After examining her lump doctor told that her lump has reduced dramatically which is a good sign and has given us the tomorrow's time for second chemo. And will give us the plan of champs to be done after this.
She had a complain that her hands and feet get cold and have a feeling that needles are getting stuck in her palms. For it doctor replied that this is after affect of chemos so nothing is there to worry. But still we are worried what's going to happen tomorrow.
Hope everything goes well. Guys please wish us good luck. Hope this time she doesn't get sick.

@sjvg1976 Yes bro. I can feel every bit of agony you are going through seeing her that way. But you are a strong person and you very well know what the situation is demanding from you.

i'm glad the first session was effective in decreasing the lump in spite of the shock to her system, but does this mean they will give the same dose as the first?

Best of luck to her. I can only imagine how it is like, I have had many people go through treatments and the sickness is always the worst. But, it is worth it. The progress she is having is amazing. Best wishes to her.

Yes its common to have the feet and hands tingle or hurt. Tony suffered with this, when her treatments are all done, that will stop but I have to say it will be there till the chemo treatment ar over, Tony had six treatments and it was 2 months when the feet and hands got better.
Ask if its okay to get the vitamin Alpha Lipoic acid for her to take, helps get the feeling back into the hands/feet, Tony`s oncologist gave them to him.

Very important to stay well while on chemo. Good for the smaller size of the lump though! Sending the best wishes for your mom
