Because trust issues

I have great news y'all! 
I started my new job yesterday!
So 2 months ago, I was let go by my other job (1 of 3), and as I was told, I wasn't good enough, hence, they couldn't let me continue after my probation period was over. I admit that I wasn't very enthusiastic about that job and it must have affected my performance. But then, the place is also known for firing people on the spot, people who've worked there for a long time. At one point they fired the manager for 15 years, who, according to everyone did a very outstanding job. Then, they fired all 5 nurses as well, called them lazy. When I was interviewed, I remember the manager bad mouthing one of the new nurses as well - who had only started working there for 2 weeks. What are the odds that she hadn't stabbed my back too?
Anyway I have moved on and I found another job - one I am actually passionate about - but can't help but feel worried they might do the same thing again because...well, trust issues.

I really hope so. I have 3 months probation and I'm going to be the best that I can be. It's tough losing a job.

You have some bad news and some good news! Lost one job but found a better one. Let's hope for the best since you like the job and the place.

Your previuos job doesn't look like a good or safe one. I hope your new job will be fine.
