I have small amounts of a few different cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash.
I won't spend my own money on "investing" in any of them right now. The market is volatile. There aren't any guarantees that they're going to be profitable. Cryptocurrencies don't have much inherent value, regardless of what anyone says about the intrinsic value of a Bitcoin being equal to the amount that was spent to "mine" it. People are mostly buying them because they think they're a way to make an easy profit.
There are plenty of ways to earn Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies without having to invest. Faucets are a decent start, although it's tedious. You can find a lot of different ones through FaucetHub.io for a good handful of different currencies. Unfortunately, not all of theirs are reliable. There are also the Moon faucets that are powered by Coinpot.co. The nice thing about those faucets is that they slowly accumulate over time, even if you don't check them regularly. Other options include GPT sites. The downside of those is that often the best offers tend to be for the United States and Canada, so finding offers you can complete from the Philippines might be difficult. Some have referral programs so you can earn commissions if you send new users to the site and they're active.
If you don't have one already, you'll need to establish wallets for each cryptocurrency that you collect. I mainly use Coinbase, which gives access to Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin. Xapo is another service that provides wallets, although I've stopped using them since they switched to app-based service and began requiring "selfie verification" every time you log in.
Beyond that, you can use CoinGecko.com to find information on current values. They also have links to each cryptocurrency's official homepage in the Overview section. Those are helpful because most have information on sites to use to establish wallets.
