The wrong kind of snow!

What do kids most like to do when a decent amount of snow has fallen?
Throw snowballs and make snowmen, of course!
However, the recent snowfall in the UK has proved to be useless for the latter objective. It appears that the snow is far too dry and powdery to srtick together in large enough quantities for snowman construction.
However, it is quite all right for skiing and tobogganing, so the kids will have something to do instead!

@indexer When I think skiing, it's mountain slopes and I know the UK has no Rocky Mountains.

@JohnRoberts There are certainly some outdoor ski centres, such as in the Cairngorms of Scotland. You don't need all that much of a slope to make skiing interesting - and we've got plenty of slopes!

How much snow did you receive? I think snowmen are adorable.
