Is School and A Job Too Hard to Handle?

I kinda want to get a job, but I'm in college. I want to know if being a full time student and working a part time job would be too much to take on? What are everyone's thoughts?

When I went to college (back in the late 80s), I did go to college full time and worked part time all the way through. I was able to work out the hours with all the places I worked with as they were understanding of school - plus my work was always somehow related to my major. I was able to juggle school, work, and having fun . . . but back then I didn't sleep much .

Depends on you. I've seen. lot of working students who succeeded and were able to manage their time. It takes determination and dedication.

It depends on the person. I worked full-time at the post office and went to college full-time and had no problems. Learning has always come very easily to me, though.

Just make sure you get a really easy job that doesn't distract from your studies. Summer jobs are best and U can save up enough money for the year!!!

It would be hard but still you can do it. Try, but make college be on first place. That is my advice.

You can do anything you put your mind too. My grand daughter is a senior in high school, takes two college classes when she gets out of school and then goes to her pt time job. She is enjoying keeping herself busy but she only works a few days a wk so she doesn't over do and can still get all her work done
