The First Summer Rain

Hello everyone. As I am writing this, in my place we are experiencing hard downpour of rain. It is summer. It is so hot this morning. Now, it is raining. And I can feel the coolness of the atmosphere the rain brings. We actually should not be expecting rains at this time but a rain is so much welcome to beat that summer heat. How's the weather in your place?

Not at all that hot yet. Drizzles came a few days ago. The five minute rain came twice today. Not unusual to rain in summer, especially the Lenten season. I always tell everyone to expect rain on Good Friday. It does, always. Ha ha

It was as good as it last, around 20-30 minutes of rain. In some areas nearby which is quite in low areas became flooded.

@rakski This year is good to see spring. Since I love winter, I don't usually look forward to seeing spring. However, this winter has been bad with several ice storms, making it dangerous.

Here we are entering summer so during day time we have lot of heat and during night time nights are colder....this weather is not good and very congenial for Viral fevers! Thanks dear friend @rakski ! God bless!

Hot like summer hot but no rain. Two nights ago it did rain though. In the summer, I prefer the rain at night but never during day time.

Yup summer rain indeed. After the rain, the sun came out brightly. I think it is a result of cloud seeding.

It is really relaxing to have such a cool temperature although the weather agency (PAG-ASA) has not declared the onset of summer yet.
