We always have a roast too. One year we tried seafood and salads and it didnt feel like Christmas at all.
We always have friends over for Christmas eve to watch Carols by Candlelight. Husband this year thought it would be a good idea to go, but I think after sitting on the grass all night the night before this old lady wouldnt be able to move Christmas day, least of all cook a meal.

Well if it was this old lady going, I would be taking a fold up chair, nothing like being different and also noticed at the same time!
