Emily Bauman can be called a savior and heroine after she used cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a 15 year old Corgi named Pia.
Corgi's owner dropped off her pet at the Belly Rubs Dog Grooming in Normal Illinois last week when she suffered a seizure and died.
Thanks to the knowledge of Emily having training first aid to assist humans and dogs alike, the life of Corgi was spared at the dog grooming place.
Corgi was taken to a local animal where she has fully recovered thanks to Emily's actions to assist a pet of her customer.

I agree with you Kristen. Emily is the dog's guardian angel.

Our former neighbor is a groomer. I don't think she's ever had to do anything like this though.

It is rare to know an animal groomer who knows first aid.
