Why do people fall in love with someone,and try to change them

Why do people try to change someone, when they met them they were perfect? why try to change them to someone different after?

This is really a big question. I don't understand that but it happen very often. It's a mistery, you fall in love with someone because he or she is in that way. After few time you try to change him/her. Why? He/She was nice, perfect when love started! Sorry, not an answer nut an another or the same question!
