I prefer real trees - just because we have always had a real tree for christmas and a fake tree seems like less "christmassy".
I like the way a real christmas tree smells ~ to me it smells like christmas :)

I have a fake tree. I don't want to have a tree cut down and go through the hassle of cleaning up a real tree. I've never used a real tree, but they seem like they would be difficult. Also, I know I could get a living tree, but there's not a good place to plant it in my yard.

I liked real ones, too. That's all we had when I was a kid up until they introduced those silver ones with the color wheels. When my kids were at home, we always had a tree. Some years it was real, and other times we used a fake one. While we were in Tennessee we didn't have one at all. Now that we're back where we'll be having little ones around at Christmas time again, and our living room is very small, we went out today and bought about a 2' fiberoptic tree and some little ornaments to hang on it. It's the thought that counts, right?

I dont like real trees, they just dont look right, plus they smell and make much more mess than the fake ones.
Plus with the fake ones I cna bend the branches to where I want them :)

ive used both as well but i really prefer the real thing for the smell, they smell so good and christmasy, this year were going to decorate our fake one outside on the deck and a real one inside,

We have a fake but I would prefer a real tree. We have 2 kittens so I am glad we have a fake tree.

I am allergic to real christmas trees and cannot use them so we have to use a fake one. And it also saves time and money becuase it's always where ou put it last and never cost anything more than what you paid for it and it last for years and year and doesn't shed pine needles allover and don't have to worry about it dying or drying. So it's easier to use artifical ones for me anyhow

for many years we would collect a real christmas tree and decorate but as the enviroment is suffering so bad for the past seven years we have been using an artificial tree i think everyons should look at the impact of chopping down the trees

Anything will do as long you can make justice in decorating them.

people living in my town including myself doesnt use real trees as christmas tree. maybe its because we dont have this kind of tree growing around here. ive never seen one(real christmas tree) but i would like to try using a real tree if i have the oppotunity.
