So proud of myself.

Even though I was not on my computer for about 5 days, I was still able to get a lot of work done outside of my computer.
I kind of wish I got a lot more work done, but I think the amount that I did was sufficient for one weekend.
I decided to bring my sketchbook along to actually work on the rough sketches that I have been meaning to get done to start actually making my website.
I was able to get 24 rough sketches done. They are poorly done, so don't ask to see them. They are more of like scribbles telling me what I want in a picture. But 24 ideas, I am so happy. I did all of that Friday and Saturday.
Now I have 24 drawings I need to do. Oh boy. things are getting real for my graphic novel and website.

one trick i was taught is pick the harder job of them to do first.. then put the easier one last.. this really helps.. seems strange but it helps. :) Keep up the great work! unless it is time sensitive and in order for each of course.

I work on what I am motivated for. I used that trick when I was in school, especially college. Now I just don't want to burn myself out so I take what I can do and keep myself motivated so I don't get discouraged.

@DesirousDreamer pacing is very important. I love the projects where you do not need motivation and you just keep going till its done and your like,"oh yeah... I love that :) ."

@dnatureofdtrain Having to draw, I have to have a lot of motivation because it isn't my special skill, it is my taught skill. When I am writing, I can go through it with all the confidence haha

Good for you!
Sometimes, time away from the computer is what we actually need.

I love being away from my computer and drawing or writing. But the computer is how I make my money, so I had to come back haha

Great! Even if the sketches are bad, so what? After all you have invested some time in doing things you love. And that's important.

Well it is mostly because they were rough sketches, they were purposely bad so they could get done quickly so I can fix them up later.

Yeah it was a lot and fun to focus on just that.
