A memorable anniversary

I appreciate all the good wishes on our 52nd wedding anniversary. We started the day off with breakfast at Bo Jangles, then drove to a nearby city for a little shopping. My husband went for a chest exray to be sure he's healed from the Pneumonia, then we had hot dogs for lunch. (We ate hot dogs on our wedding day before we picked up flowers and had photos taken after changing into our wedding clothes.) So we usually have hot dogs for lunch on our anniversary. We got married at 4pm in a little chapel in Honolulu, then had a lovely reception at the NCO club. Later this afternoon, we drove to another city about an hour away to eat supper/dinner at Red Lobster. I always have a Mai Tai like I did on our honeymoon in Hawaii. While we were eating, it starting snowing! It got a little scary on the drive home (we slid a little on a bridge) and saw two accidents. So thankful to get home where we finished celebrating with a date night. Looking forward to 53, Lord willing!
