March 13 - Discovery of Uranus

The planet Uranus was discovered accidentally by astronomer William Herschel in 1781. He originally thought he saw a comet at first but after careful study, he realized that he discovered a new planet.
Speaking of planets and astronomy, Elon Musk has initiated a project where he will have test flights to Mars as early as 2019.
I find it fascinating how quickly technology is advancing.

I saw on Bing that they found new exoplanets. I saw that about Elon Musk. I think I pass on visiting Mars right now. The price will be too expensive.
