Musical Weekend.. and another storm!

These winter snow storms seem to keep hitting us at the worst times! So far this year my son's All County concert and our Winterguard Home Show were cancelled due to winter storms. Then a couple weeks ago my son's Shakespeare competition was moved due to weather. Now the weather is threatening our high school musical production. 3 of my children are involved in the high school musical this year. My 15 year old son has the leading role, my daughter is in the ensemble, and my 11 year old son is in tech crew. Every day this week (and for the past few weeks) they've had daily rehearsals going until pretty late at night gearing up for the show. The plan was they were to have tomorrow night off so they could rest, then they'd perform on Friday and Saturday. However due to a snow storm that came in today, they were dismissed from school early and tonight's rehearsal has been cancelled. They'll have a rehearsal in school tomorrow so long as school is not cancelled or delayed. I really hope it is not delayed because being that it is their only night off, I bought us tickets to see the touring production of Kinky Boots. The kids really wanted to see it, and it's 3 nights only this week, and Thursday was the only night the kids were free.. so I'm hoping tomorrow goes off without a hitch and the musical director doesn't schedule a last minute rehearsal tomorrow night! So, as long as everything goes according to plan, this will be a big musical weekend, first with Kinky Boots on Thursday night with the kids and some friends, then Friday hubby and I will see our kids in Young Frankenstein, then Saturday I'll see Young Frankenstein again, this time I'll be accompanied by my son's girlfriend. We can get a snow storm on Sunday, I don't care... but I really wish the snow would stop messing up all my plans, and it definitely better not mess up my plans for this weekend!!
